Our client, a leader in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a QC Inspector to join their team on a contract to hire basis. This role is responsible for inspecting in process and completed assemblies.

Rate: $17-$22/hr dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, mechanical, and functional inspections using approved tools and procedures.
- Verify products and components comply with company drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Document inspection results to maintain accurate records and full traceability.
- Identify, document, and report nonconformances while supporting product disposition decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support internal and external audits, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
- Perform additional quality-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED is required.
- 0+ years in medical device/healthcare manufacturing or quality inspection experience in an FDA-regulated environment
Preferred Background
- Working knowledge of cGMP, FDA quality system regulations, and quality inspection practices in a regulated environment.
- Certifications: ASQ Certification (Certified Quality Inspector or Certified Quality Technician) preferred.
