Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing treatment protocols in various healthcare settings. Your expertise will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients and support the patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine health status and care needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and responses to interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Experience
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Epic or Cerner EMR systems
- Critical care experience or ICU experience
- Cardiac catheterization, dialysis, or IV infusion
- Long-term care or assisted living facilities
- Emergency medicine or trauma medicine at Level I or II trauma centers
- Hospice & palliative medicine or memory care
- Medical-surgical nursing or inpatient care
- Pediatrics or working with children with developmental disabilities
- Home care or community-based nursing experience
Additional desirable skills include:
- Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) and airway management techniques
- Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation
