Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Working Warehouse Supervisor to work from 5am-2pm (hours may vary slightly) Monday - Friday. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient inventory control, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing the distribution process within our facility.
Duties
- This position is a working supervisory position and will include general warehouse duties such as loading and unloading trucks, picking orders, interacting with drivers, completing shipping/receiving documentation an other duties as needed.
- Will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse duties.
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Perform and oversee the operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline processes related to e-commerce and distribution center activities.
Requirements
- Must be forklift certified and know how to operate sit-down, stand-up and clamp lifts.
- Must be able to work independently without supervision.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Proficient is using scanners and computer.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
