Job Summary: The AP Lead Analyst will serve as the primary strategic gatekeeper for the corporate AP inbox and the lead investigator for all PO exceptions. Responsible for identifying systemic root causes of data mismatches, troubleshooting PO system metadata, and clearing complex investigative backlogs to protect vendor credit ratings
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Forensic Exception Management: Lead the triage of a 150+ invoice backlog, resolving 3-way match errors (pricing, quantity, and goods receipts) that require deep-dive research into system metadata.

Inbox Management & Triage: Serve as the primary technical filter for the AP inbox, coordinating with Procurement and Depot managers for retroactive PO corrections.

Trend & Root Cause Analysis: Monitor exception data to identify recurring vendor or department-specific errors; improve processes to reduce the overall exception rate.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Experience: 3–5 years of progressive Accounts Payable or Finance Analysis experience preferred.

Technical Savvy: Expert-level Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics D365 and Medius (or directly equivalent AP automation platform).
