New Look Refinishing is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and punctual tech to join our crew. We refinish bathtubs, tiles, sinks, countertops, and more—bringing old surfaces back to life all over New England.
This job is hands-on, physical, and different every day. You’ll be on the road, working solo in homes and apartments across Boston and beyond. It’s a perfect fit for someone who likes working with their hands, isn’t afraid to get dirty, and takes pride in clean, detailed work.
Heads up: This is not a clean job—you’ll be physically spraying bathtubs with paint and coatings. You will get dirty. You will get paint on your clothes. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Show up on time to job sites (start time is 7:30 AM)
- Drive a company van to and from jobs in Boston and surrounding areas
- Carry gear like drop cloths, paper, vent fans, toolboxes, etc. to the work area
- Properly mask off bathrooms and prep the space
- Clean, sand, and prep all surfaces
- Spray primer and topcoat with professional equipment
- Pull masking, clean up, and remove trash after each job
- Go over invoices and care instructions with customers
- Use a tablet to check in, send ETAs, pull up the next job, and repeat
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone punctual and dependable
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and follow instructions
- Comfortable using a phone/tablet and basic tech
- Okay with a physical, messy job (you’ll be lifting, crouching, and standing a lot)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Start time is 7:30 AM
- This isn’t a 9–5—there’s no set end time
- Your day depends on your efficiency and experience
- Most techs are done or back to the shop before 4 PM
- Year-round steady work
What You Get:
- Paid training — $900.00 per week while you learn the ropes
- After training, Pay is TBD. Average Tech Weekly is $1200-$1500 weekly.
