What You'll Do
As an OT, you'll provide skilled occupational therapy services designed to help residents improve their independence, safety, functional abilities, and quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating residents and identifying functional needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Addressing ADLs, IADLs, mobility, and functional independence
- Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Recommending adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies
- Educating residents, families, and caregivers
- Collaborating with nursing, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Completing timely and accurate documentation
- Participating in care planning and team meetings
What We're Looking For
- Active Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- In good standing with applicable licensing boards and regulatory agencies
- LTC/SNF, geriatric, or post-acute experience preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Net Health experience is a plus
- Passion for helping residents maintain independence and quality of life
