Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly, energetic attitude and provide exceptional customer service from the moment they arrive
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, assisting guests with questions or reservation requests
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating flow and timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas to uphold food safety standards
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their overall experience
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring every visitor feels valued
Experience
- Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest relations
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities
- Organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices is a plus
- Experience working in hotel or food service settings enhances your ability to deliver top-tier guest experiences
