**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
**Duties**
- Conduct electrical work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant local regulations.
- Install, test, and maintain low- and high-voltage electrical systems, including power distribution systems and control systems.
- Perform electrical testing using equipment such as voltmeters to ensure electrical systems meet safety and efficiency standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems using power tools and logic controllers.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete renovation projects.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies.
**Skills**
- Experience as an Industrial Electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and principles.
- Proficiency in electrical renovation projects, including carpentry skills.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, including the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Experience with low-voltage electrical systems and high-voltage electrical systems.
- Skill with power tools and the ability to use them safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
