We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead behavioral intervention programs and support individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and behavioral psychological assessments to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles tailored to each client’s needs.
- Implement behavior intervention strategies across various settings, including home-based, school, and community environments.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and support staff ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards.
- Collaborate closely with families, educators, medical professionals, and caregivers to facilitate consistent implementation of treatment plans.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by managing confidential medical records and documentation accurately.
Requirements
- Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent credential.
- Proven experience working with children with disabilities, especially those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy, functional assessment, and behavioral health interventions.
- Experience conducting behavioral assessments such as functional behavior assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA regulations related to patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children with disabilities in various settings including home-based programs and schools.
- Excellent client communication skills for engaging with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage medical records accurately while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
