To provide assistance and supervision to students during the lunch and recess program. This person supervises students to insure a positive safe environment during the lunch and recess periods.
Reports to Building Principal

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

The employee supervises students during lunch and recess and is directly responsible for their safety and well-being
-
Assures the cafeteria is clean by removing trash, wiping tables and cleaning spills as needed

Directs movement of students within the cafeteria/playground boundaries to assure smooth transition of students from lunch to recess time

Assists students as needed

Prefer knowledge or experience with upper elementary students
Per DESPA Union Contract, Class III – 08 position
1.75 hour/day position; schedule as determined by Building Principal
Non-exempt
