Duties
- Assist with the installation of decks, awnings, pergolas, rail, and roofing to ensure structural integrity.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to support various construction tasks.
- Prepare and clean work sites by moving materials, debris, and setting up scaffolding or safety barriers.
- Support carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, framing, and roofing installation.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications; follow instructions for renovation or restoration projects.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of general construction practices.
- Willingness to work hard and learn new skills if no prior experience
- Mechanical knowledge related to tools, equipment operation, and basic maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, power tools usage, roofing, welding, and heavy equipment operation.
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
