About the Role
Small Talk Therapeutic Services is hiring two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists to provide services at the Davidson School, part of Elwyn's K–12 educational program in Media, PA. These positions support the elementary school program serving students with disabilities for the 2026–2027 school year, including the ESY.
The Davidson School provides individualized, specialized educational and therapeutic programming designed to meet students where they are. You'll work within a multidisciplinary team alongside special educators, OTs, PTs, and BCBAs, all united by a shared commitment to helping students communicate, connect, and find joy.

Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary-age students with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized, strengths-based goals aligned with each student's IEP
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including special educators, OTs, PTs, and BCBAs
- Coach and consult with teachers and families to support communication across environments
- Document progress, session notes, and reports in accordance with school, state, and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and annual reviews
- Support students across a range of communication profiles, including AAC users
Requirements
- Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification in Speech Instruction or Speech Communication (does not have to be complete, but you have to apply for prior to starting the position)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Pennsylvania state license (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with pediatric or school-age populations preferred
- Comfort working with autistic students, AAC users, and diverse communication profiles
- Openness to or experience with neurodiversity-affirming, relationship-based practices
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills
