Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle components such as engines (including diesel), transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems.
- Execute routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and tire service to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Repair or replace critical systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and auto body components when necessary.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs while adhering to safety standards.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical failures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety standards are met or exceeded.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and electronic components.
- Skilled in diesel engine repair, powertrain maintenance, and auto estimating procedures.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools.
- Familiarity with Jeep vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform suspension work, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills for complex vehicle issues.
- Experience working with ADAS technology and auto body repair is a plus.
