Are you a dog lover looking to turn your passion into a rewarding job? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Dog Bather/Dryer at a reputable dog grooming shop. Hours Tuesday-Saturday 8am-5pm. (This position does earn tips as well that typically average around $3 extra an hour)
Duties
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Bathe and dogs of various breeds and sizes
- Brush and detangle fur to prepare dogs for grooming
- Trim nails and clean ears
- Handle pets safely and compassionately during their stay.
- Provide a comfortable and stress-free bathing experience for all dogs
- Maintain a clean and organized bathing area
- May be cross trained to help with front desk
Skills
- Previous experience working with dogs preferred
- Willingness to learn and follow bathing procedures
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with care and patience
- Strong attention to detail and a love for animals
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential.
