Must have Optometry experience! We are an independent and locally-owned private optometry practice looking for the right person to join our small team located in Columbia, SC. We use RevolutionEHR and are a VSP Premier Practice. Experience with both is preferred.
We strive to provide the highest customer service in eye care while promoting an easygoing, pleasant atmosphere. We find education to the patient of utmost importance so they can better understand their vision needs. The ideal employee would be able to communicate well with patients with a pleasant disposition, willing to learn, fashion-forward, punctual, and responsible. We are a small practice that all work very closely with each other so being a good team player is a must!

Pay based on experience and qualifications.

Your duties would include:
- Verifying and billing vision insurance
- Effectively troubleshoot eyewear issues
- Greeting patients and providing the best in customer service
- Assisting patients in selecting eyewear to be fashionable and functional
- Being knowledgeable on various lens materials, designs, and coatings to help each patient's eyewear needs
- Adjust, repair, check-in, and dispense eyewear (our office has a manual lensometer!)
- Contact lens sales
- Be cross-trained in all aspects of the office (technician, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, etc...).
Requirements:
- Optometric experience required (3 years minimum)
- High School graduate
- Friendly and genuine personality
- Organized and detailed oriented
- Desire to excel and grow with the practice!
