Position Summary
· Responsible for all incoming and outgoing material flow within a precision machining environment.
· Ensures accurate receipt, storage, inventory control, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
· Maintains traceability, quality, and on-time delivery performance.
Receiving Responsibilities
· Receive incoming materials, hardware, and subcontracted components
· Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
· Review certifications (material certs, C of C, heat treat, plating)
· Inspect for damage, correct quantity, and proper identification
· Label materials with part number, revision, and heat/lot number
· Enter receipts into ERP/MRP system
· Route materials to inspection, storage, or production
Shipping Responsibilities
· Package finished machined parts to prevent damage
· Ensure compliance with customer packaging and labeling requirements
· Generate packing slips, BOLs, and shipping labels
· Schedule freight pickups (UPS/FedEx, LTL, international)
· Verify correct part number, revision, and quantity
· Maintain on-time delivery performance
Warehouse / Inventory Control
· Maintain organized inventory of raw material, WIP, and finished goods
· Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory
· Track lot/heat numbers for traceability
· Issue materials to jobs per work orders
· Monitor stock levels and notify purchasing
Material Handling
· Operate forklift, pallet jack, and lifting equipment
· Load and unload trucks
· Move materials between departments
· Protect machined surfaces during handling
Documentation & Systems
· Maintain accurate ERP/MRP records
· Manage material certifications and shipping records
· Ensure full traceability for regulated work
Quality & Compliance
· Support ISO / AS9100 requirements
· Ensure proper material identification and no lot mixing
· Assist with audits and traceability
· Follow OSHA and safety procedures
Qualifications
· 2+ years shipping/receiving and warehouse experience
· Basic understanding of part numbers, revisions, and POs
· Ability to read work orders
· Forklift experience or willingness to be certified
· Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in a CNC machining or fabrication shop
· Familiarity with material certifications and traceability
· ERP/MRP system experience (specifically Epicor ERP)
· AS9100 / ISO 9001 experience
· Spanish fluency

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
