Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or equivalent training. Two years of administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs. Experience using paid prospect research tools (i.e. ResearchPoint, LexisNexis, LiveAlumni, and/or other resources). Experience working with constituent relationship management databases. Thorough knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling, along with the ability to effectively write and present reports and other documents in a professional manner. University Advancement positions require staff to work with highly confidential and sensitive information. Successful candidates should have a working knowledge and appreciation for highly confidential information and data. Proficiency in online research from multiple data sources with the ability to interpret, analyze, and summarize complex biographical and financial data for a fundraising operation. Demonstrated technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software. Must have the ability to: take initiative and manage multiple projects using excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines; handle confidential and sensitive information at all times: and work collaboratively as part of a team in a diverse environment. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment.
