Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational, recreational, and developmental activities that promote childhood development and social skills.
- Manage classroom behavior and facilitate a positive environment through effective behavior management techniques.
- Supervise children during various activities, ensuring safety and adherence to program guidelines.
- Provide first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies, maintaining health and safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized plans for children with special education needs or behavioral challenges.
- Support children’s emotional well-being through Christian counseling principles or other supportive approaches when appropriate.
- Engage children in sports coaching, theater productions, arts & crafts, or other extracurricular activities to foster creativity and teamwork.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or childcare environments.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain discipline while encouraging participation.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
- Experience working with children with special needs or in inclusive education settings is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and team members in a lively, positive manner.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
