Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for various dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring proper food handling and storage practices are followed.
- Support the team during busy service hours by managing multiple orders efficiently and accurately.
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Help with menu planning ideas and contribute to maintaining consistency in dish quality.
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely meal delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, restaurant, or catering is highly desirable.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with meal preparation, food service, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
