Responsibilities
- Enforce age requirements for purchasing our restricted products.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service to assist shoppers in selecting products and answering questions about our offerings.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts.
- Conduct product demos to educate customers on new or featured items, enhancing their shopping experience.
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with popular products.
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing stockroom supplies, and conducting regular stock checks.
- Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Engage with customers via phone etiquette to answer inquiries, take orders, or provide store information.
- Develop and execute creative social media content to promote store events, new products, and special offers.
- Monitor social media channels regularly, respond to comments or messages promptly, and foster an active online community.
- Collaborate with the team to plan promotional campaigns and increase brand visibility across digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math skills required.
- Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are highly desirable.
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, product demos, and upselling techniques preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills essential for engaging with clients professionally.
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail environments is beneficial.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
