Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Evening Front Desk Manager to join our team at a premier resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. As a Front Desk Manager, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests and assisting your Morning and Evening Front Desk Manager leading the front desk team.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Manage reservations and ensure accurate data entry into the hotel management system.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain the front desk area in an organized and welcoming manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and enhance their stay.
- Utilize phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls and relay messages.
- Availability to cover evening shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is required. Previous management experience is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette skills to communicate effectively with guests over the phone.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to handle difficult situations gracefully.
- A background in hospitality management or related fields is desirable.
