Eastern Oregon Physical Therapy is an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Hermiston, OR. We have an opening for a full-time, benefited Physical Therapist Aide position. Must be 18 years old in the state of Oregon and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
This is an entry level position with duties that include:
- Work closely with physical therapists and physical therapy assistants in the care of patients.
- Clean, organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment.
-Administer active and passive therapeutic exercises and modalities treatments.
-Instruct, motivate, safeguard, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities, under direction of medical staff.
-Record treatment given and equipment used.
-Confer with physical therapy staff or others to discuss patient information for planning, modifying and coordinating treatment.
-Observe patients during treatment.
- Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment.
- Laundry including change of linens.
-Arrange treatment supplies to keep them in order.
- Assist front office as needed including duties such as answering phones and taking messages.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
