Advanced Vehicle Assembly Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Advanced Vehicle Assembly Technician to support the assembly and validation of military-style vehicles. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, electrical and welding experience, leadership capability, and advanced troubleshooting skills in a prototype and production-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble military-type vehicles and prototype systems with precision and attention to detail
- Define, organize, and help lay out vehicle assembly line processes to improve workflow, efficiency, and repeatability
- Lead and coordinate a small team involved in vehicle assembly and integration activities
- Train and mentor semi-skilled personnel in vehicle assembly procedures and best practices
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and welding tasks as part of vehicle integration and assembly
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation; identify and recommend necessary corrections
- Ensure assembly processes are completed accurately, consistently, and in accordance with quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues during vehicle build and testing
- Inspect and review completed work to verify vehicles are assembled correctly and meet operational requirements
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment
Qualifications
- Strong experience in vehicle assembly, mechanics, electrical systems, welding, and troubleshooting
- Experience defining and supporting assembly line layouts and production workflow processes
- Proven ability to lead a small team and support workforce development
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly documentation
- Excellent organizational skills and focus on repeatable, high-quality processes
- Military experience and/or formal technical training is a plus
