Senior Mechanical Engineer – PE Required
Denver, CO | Remote Flexibility
We’re partnering with an integrated design-build firm seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC and plumbing projects focused on energy efficiency, infrastructure modernization and building decarbonization.
This role offers significant technical ownership, direct client interaction and collaboration with engineering, construction and commissioning teams from initial assessment through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC and plumbing design for commercial and institutional buildings
- Develop drawings, specifications, calculations and equipment selections
- Manage mechanical deliverables and multidisciplinary coordination
- Work directly with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
- Provide construction support and mentor junior engineers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Active PE license required
- 6+ years of mechanical building systems experience
- Strong HVAC and plumbing design expertise
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience independently leading projects and client relationships
- Ability to travel approximately 10–15%
