Overview
We are seeking a par time compassionate and dedicated Residential Home Care Aid to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance at the facility. The ideal candidate will have an easy going personality to get along with residents and staff. Residents vary in age from 22 yrs on up, and we do not need employees to provide any medical care at all. Residents are free to leave and return, for they are stable on medications. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients by delivering personalized care and support., along with some housekeeping and laundry services.
Also needed part time kitchen assistant to prepare light meals, clean, serve, and stock
Responsibilities
- Assist clients when needed with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, as well as assist kitchen staff with serving, loading dishwasher, and general clean-up.
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with mild mental health disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- No degree requirements at all. We will train. Some weekends are required.
- Background check will be required.
