<Job Summary>
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Evening Supervisor to lead our team during the critical evening hours. This dynamic role involves overseeing daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining inventory accuracy. As the Evening Supervisor, you will be a key leader responsible for fostering a positive shopping environment, supervising team members, and ensuring all operational standards are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. <Duties>
- Supervise and coordinate evening shift activities, ensuring smooth store operations from opening to closing.
- Lead and motivate team members through effective communication, coaching, and training to achieve sales goals and deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage inventory control processes including stocking, merchandising, pricing, and inventory management to maximize sales opportunities.
- Oversee cashiering functions such as cash handling, POS transactions, and balancing registers to maintain accuracy and accountability.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with a friendly attitude, fostering loyalty and satisfaction.
- Conduct employee orientation sessions for new hires and ongoing training to develop team skills in sales, product knowledge, and store procedures.
- Assist in recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and selecting qualified staff aligned with company standards.
- Monitor store cleanliness, safety protocols, and compliance with company policies during your shift.
- Support marketing initiatives by implementing promotional displays and engaging customers with current offers.
- Utilize organizational skills to manage scheduling, payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and administrative duties efficiently.
<Qualifications>
- Proven supervising or management experience in retail or customer service environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, POS systems, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.
- Experience with employee orientation, training & development, and recruiting processes.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques including merchandising, pricing strategies, and sales management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as supervising staff while maintaining high customer service standards.
