Vinnova a fast growing bathroom furniture company is seeking an General accountant who is knowledgeable in Excel and QuickBooks. We are looking for a candidate who is well spoken, punctual, a fast learner, ready to take on new challenges and well experienced in the accounting field.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy with all the financial accounts, preparing financial reports and managing entries with QuickBooks and NetSuite accounting system.
- Responsible for preparing, coding and posting AP invoices and client AR invoices
- Posting receipt payments
- Preparing and coordinating daily deposit activities
- Responsible for reviewing weekly project payroll submission for processing
- Responsible for researching and resolving payment discrepancies
- Monitor accounts for non-payment and delayed payments
- Processing weekly accounts payable payments
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
- Reconciling processed payments through verification of entries and other supporting documents to balances
- Providing support in audit and tax preparation
- Verifying expense reports
- Preparing an analysis of accounts and other monthly reports
- Communicating with customers
- Filing disputes for overages and shortages with customers
- File and record freight claims
- Filing, scanning. organizing company documents and sorting mail
- A/P and A/R functions
- Bank deposits and mail drop off
- Record keeping
- Report building/ Financial Analysis
- Assisting with HR duties as needed
- Support the accounting department as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Preferences:
- B.S in accounting preferred
- Minimum of three years in accounting experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Strong work ethic
- Clear communication and able to multi task.
- Willing to learn and take on new tasks as you grow and become comfortable with current tasks assigned. Show ability to grow in the role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
