We are seeking a Level 2 Behavioral Intervention Specialist to:
- Provide comprehensive clinical services, including off-site and satellite interventions, diagnostic evaluations (e.g., intellectual, adaptive, emotional, mental status, and Functional Behavior Assessments), crisis intervention, and ongoing monitoring and modification of treatment plans.
- Develop and implement behavioral interventions, including designing behavior support programs, providing follow-up and documentation, completing psychiatric appointment reviews, and promoting positive behavioral outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams by participating in team meetings, case conferences, regular clinical supervision, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation and periodic reviews.
- Deliver staff training and professional development, including behavior modification principles, Positive Behavior Supports, SCIP-R instruction and recertification, and other agency-required trainings while maintaining required certifications.
- Ensure the health, safety, and rights of individuals served by reporting and documenting incidents, acting as a mandated reporter to the Justice Center when appropriate, promoting safe work practices, and adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain compliance with agency, state, and federal requirements by following policies and procedures, meeting attendance and scheduling expectations, and completing all required annual and position-specific training.

We require:
- Master’s degree from a program in a clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied psychology
- Clean and Valid NYS Driver's License
- At least one (1) year of experience working directly with people with I/DD, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of behavior support plans and/or providing supervision and training to others in the implementation of behavior support plans
