Responsibilities
- Measure and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation of baths, showers, and fixtures.
- Prepare work sites by using hand tools and power tools to remove old fixtures, modify structures, and ensure surfaces are ready for installation.
- Install a variety of plumbing fixtures including tubs, showers, faucets, drains, and related hardware with precision.
- Conduct construction inspection to verify proper fit, finish, and compliance with safety standards throughout the installation process.
- Utilize construction management practices to coordinate with project teams and ensure timely completion of installations.
- Perform caulking, sealing, trim carpentry, tiling, stucco work, and other finishing tasks to achieve a polished look.
- Operate heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling while adhering to safety protocols.
- Read and interpret blueprints or schematics accurately to facilitate seamless installation workflows.
- Conduct restoration or renovation work as needed to match existing finishes or accommodate structural modifications.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate progress effectively with supervisors and clients.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Extensive experience with plumbing systems, fixture installation, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, drywall finishing, masonry, welding, and concrete finishing.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers; power tools including drills and saws; and heavy equipment operation when required.
- Knowledge of construction site safety standards and inspection procedures to ensure compliance at all times.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Bluebeam for project documentation.
- Strong understanding of electrical experience relevant to fixture wiring or lighting setups in bathroom installations.
- Ability to read detailed blueprints and schematics accurately for precise execution of projects.
- Experience in remodeling projects involving framing carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation or glass installation is advantageous.
