Window Treatment Installation Technician
Build Beautiful Spaces. Solve Problems. Delight Customers.
Budget Blinds of Amherst, Sandusky, & Wellington
Pay: Starting at $26/hour + Performance Bonus Opportunities
Build Something You're Proud Of
At Budget Blinds, we're nationally backed and locally owned. We don't just install blinds—we help people love their homes.
As a Window Treatment Installation Technician, you're the final step in every homeowner's journey. While our Design Consultants create the vision, you're the one who brings it to life. The quality of your work—and the experience you create in the customer's home—determines how they'll remember Budget Blinds for years to come.
We're not looking for someone to simply install window treatments.
We're looking for someone our customers are genuinely happy to welcome into their home.
Someone who smiles, communicates clearly, respects people's property, solves problems, and leaves every room looking better than they found it.
We are extremely selective because character matters more to us than experience.

What You'll Actually Do
No two days are exactly alike.
One day you may install six roller shades in a beautiful new home.
The next day you might repair a 15-year-old shade for a retired couple who simply wants it working again.
Every installation helps transform a customer's space while improving comfort, privacy, light control, and style.
Every home is different. Every family is different. Every installation presents a new opportunity to learn and solve problems.
You'll receive extensive paid training to learn how to:
- Install blinds, shutters, roller shades, cellular shades, woven shades, drapery, motorized products, and more
- Troubleshoot and repair existing window treatments
- Re-string shades and perform service work
- Remove existing window treatments
- Take accurate measurements when needed for service work, repairs, or special projects
- Educate homeowners on product operation, care, and maintenance
- Identify manufacturing defects and installation issues
- Coordinate remakes and repairs with manufacturers
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish
Depending on your experience, training may include travel for advanced installation training.
