We are currently seeking a qualified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide care for a private duty client located in Flushing. The current openings are Tuesdays 7am to 11pm and every other Friday/Saturday 7am to 11pm.
The pay rate for this position is $19 per hour.
Requirements Include:
- 1 year of home care experience
- Current CPR or BLS certification
- Must be comfortable working in a home with cats
- Hoyer Lift experience
- Active Driver’s License
- Active Auto Insurance
- Comfortable driving a wheelchair accessible van and willing to attend appointments with client.
- Proactive, motivated and energetic personality
Preferred Experience:
- Colostomy bag care
- Catheter care including draining urine bag
Candidate will be responsible for:
- ADL's (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.)
- Hoyer Lift for transfers
- Light housekeeping including laundry
- Meal prep
- Transporting client in wheelchair accessible van
- Attending appointments
- Colostomy & catheter care
- Ensuring safety
- Walking with client outdoors
