Possibility Academy is a new non-public Charter opening for students with Autism or disabilities for 2026-2027.
We are seeking an energetic and visionary School Leader to lead our School for Autism with passion and strategic insight. This Role will serve as the chief leader, responsible for fostering an inspiring learning environment, overseeing academic excellence, and ensuring operational efficiency. This dynamic role requires a proactive leader who can develop innovative curriculum programs, manage school administration, and cultivate a vibrant school community. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, possess comprehensive knowledge of education law and policies, and be committed to advancing educational outcomes for all students.
Duties
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Providing leadership and oversight of all school operations, including academic programs, staff supervision, and student services
- Ensuring implementation of the school’s curriculum and instructional model in alignment with state standards and school policies
- Supervising and supporting teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff
- Conducting staff evaluations, coaching, and professional development planning
- Maintaining a safe, structured, and positive learning environment for all students
- Supporting student discipline procedures and ensuring compliance with school policies
- Communicating regularly with families, staff, and organizational leadership
- Ensuring compliance with all state, local, and organizational requirements for educational programming and reporting
- Assisting with enrollment processes, community engagement, and school outreach efforts
- Participating in required leadership meetings, professional development, and organizational initiatives
- Performing any other duties assigned by the governing organization or executive leadership in support of school success and student achievementWork Schedule & Hours
Your regular workday is expected to begin at 7:30 a.m. and continue through the completion of student dismissal and operational responsibilities after the 3:30 p.m. dismissal, ensuring that all students have been safely released to authorized individuals and/or transported on school buses.
As the School Leader, additional time outside of standard hours may be required to support school operations, including but not limited to:
- Professional development sessions
- Staff meetings and leadership meetings
- Parent-teacher conferences and family engagement events
- School functions, events, or operational needs

Experience
- Proven experience in K-12 education administration with a strong background in instructional leadership and school management.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum development, faculty supervision, and personnel management within an educational setting.
- Extensive knowledge of school legal frameworks including special education law and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing budgets at an executive level within an educational context.
- Strong background in strategic planning, fundraising, and community engagement efforts.
- Prior experience working as a school administrative director or in senior leadership roles within schools is highly desirable.
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to motivate staff and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Classroom teaching experience combined with leadership roles provides a well-rounded perspective on student needs and instructional best practices.

Pay: $72,288.83 - $85,000.00 per year
