POSITION PURPOSE
The Sales Coordinator will proactively assist the sales team in the administration and reporting of key functional areas. Responsibilities will specifically be focused on supporting the sales team and work as a liaison between department communication. This individual will act as the subject matter expert for Bona’s 1 World system for Bona’s Retailers. This position will be responsible for sales communication, reports and presentations, coordinating meetings and special events, handling telephone calls, and other administrative tasks. The Sales Coordinator will also be responsible for contributing to a positive team atmosphere.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DUTIES:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of relevant office, sales, or administrative experience
- Displays effective verbal and written communication, organizational, and analytical skills with high level of attention to detail
- Extensive working knowledge of PC functions and Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with SAP is a plus
- Experience with portals or CRM required (Salesforce, PeopleSoft, Workday, etc.)
- Must demonstrate self-motivation and enthusiasm and be goal-oriented
JOB DUTIES:
- Handle sales receipts as the first point of contact for customers.
- Process ETAs/back-order statuses, customer pricing, and communicate product availability.
- Run back-orders, adhesives, non-compliance reports.
- Track orders, process customer sample order requests, and update deal sheets.
- Obtain and upload Certificate of Insurances for retailers.
- Retailer promotions – set-up retailer digital promotions, maintain overall retail sales promo tracker.
- Responsible for general sales administrative support such as sales meetings, coordinating hotel stays, forecasting sales reports, and data maintenance.
- Maintain and develop 1 World Sync system, which includes, but is not limited to; new item setup and maintenance for the following retailers: Walmart, Kroger, Safeway, Albertsons, and Lowes.
- Manage special projects assigned by Sales Leadership.
- Ensure the sample room and sample POGs remain stocked and is responsible for shipping samples as needed to customers and vendors.
- Coordinate new item setup and product conversions by serving as a liaison between the eCommerce Director, external agency partners, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Create and maintain tracking for new products, and share results and updates with Sales, Demand Planning, and Product Management.
- Review product detail pages (PDPs) and online store listings to identify and flag inconsistencies, errors, or other unusual issues.
- Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines, travel when necessary.
- Develop mutually beneficial, respectful, and effective relationships with peers to ensure seamless coordination between departments, maximize synergy, and maintain a shared vision, strategy, and focus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Must be able to bend, climb stairs, and continuously stand or walk 50% of the time.
- Must be able to occasionally move within the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- This position also requires some amount of time to be spent using computer equipment, which entails regular and repetitive motions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Generally, works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting.
- This position regularly requires large amounts of time to be spent using and viewing computer screens and equipment, which generally entails regular and repetitive motions.
- May occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, or chemicals. All safety procedures should be adhered to in each of these situations.

Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range provided. The compensation range listed above may encompass base salary, performance-based bonuses, and commission opportunities, if applicable.
