Job Description
Chester area manufacturer is in need of a maintenance mechanic or industrial electrician for a first shift! This is a Monday-Friday 40 plus hours week position with overtime as needed. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repair of production machines. Should be skilled in preventative maintenance and have the ability to forecast equipment maintenance.
Job Responsibilities
- The maintenance mechanic will manage predictive and preventative maintenance program
- General shop and office facilities maintenance
- Keep immediate work area clean and organized throughout the day.
- Use precision when operating tools, machines, and repair work
- The maintenance mechanic will adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Adhere to all handbook policies and procedures.
- Participate in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance and repair of electrical appliances, systems, facilities and related electronic controls and devices
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer skills necessary
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good reading and math skills
- Good organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
- Ability to measure using different tools
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction
- Operate with high integrity, maintaining positive relations with co-workers, customers, and suppliers
- Strong work ethic
- Five or more Maintenance / Machine Mechanic years’ experience
- Good Handyman skills in General Repair and Maintenance.
- Electrical knowledge a huge +++
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:
- Production machine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
- Preventative maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
- Industrial maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
