Job Description/Position Overview
Safety First is hiring dependable and professional Unarmed Security Guards throughout Connecticut. This role offers the opportunity to work at a variety of client locations.
We are seeking individuals who are reliable, observant, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing excellent customer service.

Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Evenings, Nights, Weekends, Holidays
Responsibilities
- Provide a visible security presence throughout assigned property.
- Control access points and verify identification when required.
- Monitor guests and identify potential safety concerns before they escalate.
- De-escalate conflicts using professionalism and excellent communication skills.
- Remove disruptive patrons when necessary while following company procedures.
- Work closely with venue management, event staff, and local law enforcement.
- Complete accurate incident reports.
- Patrol assigned areas on foot throughout the shift.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional appearance.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Connecticut Security Guard License (Guard Card)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between job sites if needed
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
