Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist will support daily HR operations with a focus on recruiting, onboarding, payroll assistance, compliance, and safety coordination. This role works closely with management and employees to ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting, including posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring decisions
- Facilitate onboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and benefits enrollment
- Process and maintain E-Verify documentation and ensure I-9 compliance
- Support payroll operations, including filing, data entry, timekeeping review, and payroll documentation management
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR filing systems (electronic and paper)
- Assist in drafting, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures
- Support safety initiatives, including documentation, compliance tracking, and coordination of safety training
- Assist with employee relations matters and provide guidance on company policies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Participate in audits and HR reporting as needed
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of HR experience preferred
- Knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, payroll processes, and compliance regulations
- Experience with E-Verify and I-9 documentation
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ADP
- Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards
Work Environment
This position operates in both office and manufacturing environments and may require occasional walking on the production floor.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
