Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Supervise all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Oversee the use of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Train, develop, and motivate kitchen staff to uphold food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and excellent customer service.
- Lead staff scheduling, shift management, and ensure proper staffing levels to meet business demands.
- Conduct regular quality checks on food production and presentation; implement improvements as needed.
- Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth while maintaining high standards of hospitality management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking.
- Demonstrated supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with team leadership responsibilities.
- Knowledge of inventory control, food safety management, and budgeting principles within the food industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required.
- Experience with fine dining or casual dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Strong management skills with the ability to train staff effectively and lead a hospitality team confidently.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence; ability to interview candidates and manage staff development initiatives.
