You will have responsibilities including but not limited to:
Performs monthly site visits to all OASAS/OMH-Licensed facilities to meet with onsite nurses to ensure the substance use facilities are in compliance with required regulatory and Healthcare Departments Policies and Procedures.
Works closely with Medical Director, CEO, Director of Residential Services, Director of Outpatient Services, Director of Mental Health Services, and Director of Compliance to develop and improve systems for healthcare within Phoenix House.
Prioritize the use of best and evidence-based practices, including researching programming trends and current practices being used in the field. While, maintaining understanding of current treatments, knowledge, and practices in addiction care.
Provide ongoing assessment and evaluation of the medical program to ensure that patient needs, and Phoenix House standards are met.
Ensures maintenance of standards of tracking across facilities (i.e. log books, consistency with regulatory requirements) and creates tracking systems where and when needed.
Ensures all substance use program nurses fulfill requirements of competency checklist at appropriate intervals.
Ensures facility maintenance and cleanliness in compliance with CARF/OMH and OASAS standards.
Manage patient outcome tracking in patient and research database.
Develops, prepares, and monitors personnel, supply and equipment budgets in collaboration with the staff, medical director and CEO.
Develops measures and monitors unit operational performance metrics inclusive of agency and overtime costs, vacancy, and turnover rates.

REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills.
Strong supervisory, and leadership skills; keen analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and EMH or related software.
Background in OASAS and OMH regulations.
Substance abuse/mental health experience greatly encouraged.
Competency with computer-based programs such as Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) Relias and EHR.
