Your New Role
- Work from Agoura Hills, CA, while supporting projects throughout the Malibu service area
- Assist with space planning and basic interior layouts
- Create and update AutoCAD drawings, including plans, elevations, and details under designer's direction
- Support material, furniture, fabric, lighting, and finish selections
- Build and maintain specification binders and material libraries
- Assist with material schedules, fixture schedules, and purchase order support
- Track vendor orders, lead times, and deliveries
- Prepare client presentation materials using Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint when needed
- Support project site visits by taking measurements, notes, and photographs
- Coordinate vendor communication, sample returns, filing, and other administrative support tasks
- Maintain accurate project documentation and organized project files
- Collaborate closely with Senior and Associate Designers while learning industry best practices

Job requirements
- Previous education or experience in interior design or a related field
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of SketchUp
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Dropbox and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, self-starting attitude
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with senior team members
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel to project sites within the service area as needed
