Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, hospital, home health, and community care. This role involves developing and implementing individualized care plans to improve patient mobility, function, and overall well-being. The Physical Therapist will utilize their expertise in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver effective physiotherapy interventions tailored to diverse patient populations such as pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and those recovering from acute care or hospital stays.
Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations and develop personalized care plans.
- Administer a variety of physiotherapy treatments including trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises.
- Conduct discharge planning to ensure smooth transition from hospital or inpatient settings to home or community care environments.
- Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and health maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize care plans and treatment efficacy.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatments accordingly to meet recovery goals.
- Assist in the training of staff or caregivers in providing ongoing support for patients post-treatment.
Experience
- Experience with pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and patients recovering from surgeries or injuries is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with discharge planning, care plans, and managing complex cases involving multiple health conditions.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and relevant medical terminology necessary for accurate assessment and treatment.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR systems) for documentation and communication within healthcare teams.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
