Class A delivery driver needed at our Eugene, Oregon location. This is a seasonal position working many hours from now until mid-September with potential of becoming permanent. Current medical medical card and good driving record required. Please reply with a resume and include at least three references. Looking to fill this position as soon as possible.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of commercial truck driving experience is strongly preferred.
- Valid CDL Class A
- Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs.
- A background in delivery is a plus.
- Good communication and customer service skills as well as general digital literacy
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver product to the customer, which includes loading and unloading and validating product sales receipts are accurate before finalizing sales.
- Ability to operate an electric pallet jack.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations.
- Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for delivery as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, and stocking incoming inventory.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
