FirstLight Home Care is actively hiring compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for rewarding part-time in-home care roles for overnight shifts in Apple Valley, MN. This role is for a specific client. Once care with that client ends, shifts may be in surrounding areas as well. Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance

Support safe mobility, transfers, and fall prevention to protect clients

Prepare healthy meals and maintain clean, safe home environments

Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community activities

Offer dependable companionship and engaging support during visits

Follow individualized care plans and communicate client status updates accurately

This position is for AWAKE overnight shifts
Schedule & Work Expectations

12-hour AWAKE overnight shifts: weekdays and weekends to fit your lifestyle

Availability for weekend work required at least every other weekend

Travel to client home in Apple Valley (current opening, surrounding areas in future)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliable communication are essential
Qualifications & Requirements

Active Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) registration

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required

Effective English communication skills for caregiving and documentation

Smartphone to manage scheduling and communications

Completion of paid orientation and training sessions

Ability to perform physical job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Experience

At least 2 years of caregiving or related health support experience preferred
