Job Overview
We are looking for a Groundsman to join our team. This position involves driving trucks and trailers, dragging and stacking brush, operating chippers and other equipment, raking, and helping with vehicle and equipment maintenance. Responsibilities
- Drive trucks and trailers safely
- Perform basic tree work, including running ropes, raking, chipping, dragging, and stacking brush
- Operate and maintain power equipment such as chainsaws, trimmers, and blowers
- Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on equipment and tools
- Inspect work areas for hazards and obstacles
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with general ground crew duties as needed
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must have a clean driving record
- Tree work experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
