Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator to support our mental health clinical trials in Austin, TX. In this role, you will manage day-to-day study operations, interact directly with participants, and ensure all research activities meet regulatory and sponsor requirements. Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours (some flexibility required for study visits)
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Location: Austin, TX (on-site)
Responsibilities
- Screen, enroll, and schedule study participants according to protocol
- Conduct informed consent with prospective participants
- Phlebotomy
- Collect, process, and ship biological specimens per protocol requirements
- Maintain accurate source documentation and electronic data capture (EDC) entries
- Maintain Investigator Site Files and ensure GCP compliance
- Support sponsor monitoring visits and internal audits
- Build rapport with participants to support retention throughout the study
- Coordinate with pharmacy, lab, and clinical staff to facilitate study visits
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, health science, nursing, biology, or a related field
- 1–2 years of clinical research experience (mental health or psychiatric research preferred)
- Phlebotomy
- Working knowledge of FDA regulations, GCP guidelines, and IRB processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort working with individuals with mental health conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- CCRC or CCRP certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Phlebotomy and specimen processing experience
