Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Case Workers to join our team. We have a need in Vallejo, Fairfield, Vacaville, and Dixon. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with minor to moderate developmental disabilities. This position requires Patience, compassion, and understanding to help clients achieve their independent living goals and improve their overall well-being through effective case management and support.
Responsibilities
- Assists our clients in teaching them basic, everyday living skills.
- Assists clients with transporting them to appointments, shopping, and other destinations.
- Assists clients in integrating into the community and practice social skills.
- Provide job services including assistance in resume building, interview practice, applying for employment, and basic job coaching
- Assist clients with accessing resources, including Medicare, Section 8 housing, Social security benefits, Cal fresh
- Monitor and record development of client progress utilizing internal tools
- Collaborate with community organizations and service providers to ensure support for clients.
Qualifications
- No college degree required (entry level position)
- Experience preferred but not required in working with young adults with mild developmental disabilities
- Full training provided
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions.
- Have a big heart with compassion, patience, and adaptability
