Duties
- Monitor festival grounds through CCTV surveillance and on-foot patrols to identify potential safety hazards or suspicious activity
- Control access points by verifying tickets, wristbands, or credentials for attendees, staff, vendors, and performers
- Enforce festival policies related to prohibited items, behavior standards, and emergency procedures
- Respond promptly to incidents such as medical emergencies, conflicts, or security breaches by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders
- Conduct thorough inspections of bags, equipment, and festival areas to prevent theft or unauthorized entry
- Manage crowd movement during entry, exit, and main event activities to ensure smooth flow and prevent overcrowding
- Document incidents accurately through detailed reports and communicate effectively with team members and emergency services when needed
Skills
- Proven ability to handle conflict management with professionalism and calmness under pressure
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV for effective monitoring of large crowds
- First aid certification and CPR training to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies
- Background in law enforcement, military service, or security enhances your ability to respond decisively
- Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques to deter theft and vandalism
