We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to support both exterior and interior scopes across the greater Seattle area.
Compensation
- $25.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Biweekly pay
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall panels on walls and ceilings.
- Hang and secure drywall using hand and power tools.
- Tape, mud, and finish drywall seams, corners, and joints.
- Sand finished surfaces to create a smooth, paint-ready finish.
- Repair damaged drywall, including patching holes and replacing sections as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Install metal or wood framing when required.
- Apply texture finishes to walls and ceilings to match existing surfaces or project specifications.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
- Load, unload, and transport drywall materials and equipment.
- Operate and maintain drywall tools and equipment safely.
- Accurately estimate materials needed for assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a drywaller or drywall finisher.
- Knowledge of drywall installation, finishing, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read construction plans and measurements.
- Skilled in the use of drywall hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
