Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading goods using manual handling techniques. We deliver extremely heavy items upwards of 400lbs.
- Support route driving by helping to organize packages and ensure timely deliveries
- Safely handle heavy items while adhering to safe lifting practices and weight handling guidelines in the workplace
- Help verify delivery orders against manifests and ensure accurate load & unload procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
- Follow DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety protocols throughout all activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle interior and work area
- People that can speak Spanish encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safe lifting practices is highly desirable
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy items repeatedly while maintaining safety standards
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
