Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of hygiene, and foster a welcoming environment for all guests. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping team to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, standards, and procedures to maintain consistent quality across all areas
- Train new team members on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and guest satisfaction; address any issues promptly
- Collaborate with front desk and guest services teams to accommodate special requests and resolve guest concerns efficiently
- Promote a positive work environment through motivation, recognition, and ongoing team development
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel or resort housekeeping management or a similar hospitality role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to communicate effectively with diverse guests and staff
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, safety regulations, and cleaning best practices
- Experience with front desk operations or guest services is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
