What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, medical calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Control access to the location by checking credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and assisting with visitor and/or vehicle screening in accordance with site protocols.

Support incident response and post orders by communicating with local authorities when needed, completing required reports, and helping to maintain order during operational disruptions and/or emergencies.
Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
-
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
